Mission Statement: The Wabakimi Rendezvous will bring members of Friends of Wabakimi and others together for the purposes of fellowship and networking. This will happen through workshops, speakers and field trips that develop an awareness and understanding of the natural, cultural and historic resources of the Wabakimi Area. There will also be opportunities to learn how to plan and execute self-guided trips into the Wabakimi Area*. This gathering is an opportunity to develop partnerships and build relationships with First Nations, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, NGO’s and other tourism and resource-based industries in Armstrong and Thunder Bay.
