"On July 27, (2001) WMCKA members Star Swift and Frits Kwant, along with Mary Jo Cullen, Torfinn Hansen and their golden retriever, Lori, completed a trip around Lake Nipigon. Located north of Lake Superior, Lake Nipigon is the largest lake wholly within the Canadian province of Ontario. Although they allowed 30 days for the trip, they completed their circuit in 3 weeks. While Cullen, Hansen and Lori, the golden retriever paddled the double, Swift and Kwant paddled singles."
